Prices and charges
Prices quoted include VAT. Special charges are added for carriage, payment against invoice and unclaimed packages.
Purchase agreement
To safeguard your interests as a customer, we apply the provisions of the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act (SFS 1990:932), the Swedish Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (SFS 2005:59) and the Swedish Personal Data Act (SFS 1998:204) to all purchase agreements. When you place your order, we send an order confirmation; the purchase agreement comes into force when you have received this confirmation. We reserve the right to decline an order; this may be because we do not have the product in stock or we have been unable to reserve the money from your credit card. If we have any problems with your order, we will contact you. 8848 Altitude does not conclude agreements with minors (under the age of 18) without the legal guardian's approval.
In the event of any errors in stock status or price, 8848 Altitude reserves the right to cancel the purchase agreement. If you have any questions about the content of 8848 Altitudes purchasing terms and conditions, please contact customer service by email at webstore@8848altitude.com.
We handle your personal information with uttermost care and ensure that we follow the applicable paragraphs in the General Data Protection Act (GDPR).
Price and product information
We reserve the right to the possibility of misspellings, stock adjustments and possible price changes. If the expected stock balance does not match your purchase, you will be notified by email. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact our customer service at webstore@8848altitude.com.
Keep in mind that the colours of our products may differ slightly from what you see on your screen depending on the browser and settings on your computer. So, as much as we would like to, we cannot guarantee that your screen will display any colour with 100% accuracy.
Complaints
If a product has been shipped incorrectly or is faulty, 8848 Altitude will pay for the return costs. 8848 Altitude complies with the Swedish Consumer Purchases Act and refers to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints and Swedish law in the event of any dispute. Follow the instructions here to make a complaint.
Delivery
You will receive your order within 3-5 working days of our receipt of your order. The delivery time for certain products may be slightly longer during the peak season or in the event of high volumes. We make reservations for products being sold out and for any errors in price that may occur. In such cases 8848 Altitude will contact you to find out how you wish to proceed with your order.
Packages that are not claimed within 14 days are returned to 8848 Altitude. If this happens, a charge of €30 is made for an unclaimed package. This corresponds to the costs we have incurred in dispatching the package and receiving it by return post. Unclaimed packages are not covered by the right of withdrawal.

Returns
It is important for us that you are satisfied with your purchase, you therefore have 14 days right to return from the date you receive the order. You have the right to open the package and check the product. You as a consumer are however responsible for any loss of value of the goods resulting from the handling of the products beyond what is required to determine the nature, characteristics and function. Due to the product's potential value reduction, we recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging and label remain in the garment.

Transport guarantee
All deliveries are insured by 8848 Altitude. If the package is damaged when you receive it, you must report this to the freight courier. If you’ve already opened the package when you discover the damage, contact us and make a return; damaged goods are replaced free of charge by 8848 Altitude. In such instances it is important that you return the product within 14 days.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file which, with your permission, is sent from our web server and saved in your browser. We use cookies to enhance our services, to give you the best user experience available. In your browser you have the option to clear all saved cookies, as well as turn them off completely. Although, remember that some parts of our site might stop working if you refuse our cookies.
Newsletter
By subscribing to our newsletter, you accept our newsletter subscriber policy and confirm that you agree that we will save your data and use it for targeted marketing such as newsletters and ads. 8848 Altitude reserves the right to change the terms and conditions for subscribers. Changes of major importance to the subscriber will be announced in an appropriate way.
Personal data will not be given away, sold, rented out or otherwise made available to another company that is not connected to our business. All newsletters are made with services that do not show your data to other subscribers. In each newsletter, you have the opportunity to unsubscribe from coming newsletters. This will be respected immediately without delay.
Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, for example amended legislation, authority measures, strike, blockade, sabotage, war, terrorism, fire, flooding, natural disasters or similar, 8848 Altitudes obligations to fulfil the purchase agreement are postponed until these circumstances have been resolved.
